International Women’s Day 50/50 Fundraiser

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in Alberta.

    Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    ALBERTA GAMING, LIQUOR AND CANNABIS COMMISSION #766499

    1 for $10.00; 10 tickets
    4 for $20.00; 320 tickets
    20 for $50.00; 520 tickets
    100 for $100.00; 2000 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $2,500.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: March 9, 2026 at 12:00:00 p.m. MDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: March 9, 2026 at 8:00:00 p.m. MDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at 3238 8 st, SW, Calgary, AB, t2t 3a6

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://uwaa.rafflenexus.com/winners on March 9, 2026.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Ukrainian Women Advancement Association (UWAA).

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Ukrainian Women Advancement Association (UWAA) or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Ukrainian Women Advancement Association (UWAA) does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: info@uwaa.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Other

    Please email our team at info@uwaa.ca should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

The Ukrainian Women Advancement Association (UWAA) is a registered charity that empowers Ukrainian women and their children in Calgary through a volunteer-led mentorship program, English language practice, pre-employment support, and community connection.
